It’s called a lupulin shift…

And I’ve had it.

While trying Pyramid’s new Imperial IPA the other night, I believe I actually scoffed at the hoppiness. 86 IBUs? For an “Imperial IPA”? Seriously?!?

Granted, Ranger IPA has 70 IBUs and I used to find it too hoppy. Now I just find it delicious….

As I was exclaiming to DB about the general lack of hops in this so-called Imperial IPA, he just gives me this shit-eating grin and says, “I believe that’s called a lupulin shift.”

Damn hop heads…
