Last night, I went out to one of my favorite restaurants (PF Chang’s) with some of my favorite people to celebrate my birthday. ((My actual birthday was Sunday and I had the best day just hanging out with my husband and daughter. Much better than last year’s birthday from hell…))
It was really nice to get out for a dinner with some girlfriends. We spent an inordinate amount of time laughing hysterically – I’m pretty sure all of the diners around us were totally annoyed by our antics.
Angie got me the nicest gift – a mouse pad for work with pictures of the Littlest Brewster on it. Also, knowing how obsessed I am with office supplies, she got me the coolest mechanical pencil ever.
Cris and Devinder got me a gift certificate for a massage at Tanas, which is one of my absolute favorite ways to spend an hour. I can’t wait to use it! Although maybe I’ll hoard it until I’m exhausted and sore and cranky and need to get away… Or maybe I’ll use it right away… Or maybe I’ll save it… Oh, the wonderfulness of having to decide just when I want to indulge myself.
