I know I’ve done a post with the same title before, but it’s so true that the Littlest Brewster is gaining new skills in leaps and bounds that I had to use it again.
You’ve already seen her mad tower-building abilities. (And were appropriately amazed, I’m sure. :))
Now, prepare to be amazed by….
Granted, she was only able to get it on the paper about half the time. And she quickly broke her crayon. And then tried to eat it.
But, she knew what to do!
And, her other new skill (but one that I’m not banking on) is…
Pointing to her stomach when she’s taken an enormous poop!
It’s only happened the last 3 or 4 mornings, but as soon as she poops, she starts pulling up her shirt and pointing to her belly. She’ll also say either “Baby” or “Belly” depending on how she feels.
It would be nice if we could get her to point to her stomach before she drops a deuce, but I have a feeling that’s a skill that’s a few months off, at least.
The DreadBrewer and I are just constantly amazed by her ability to learn new skills and figure things out. I guess everyone feels like this with their first kid, but it’s pretty friggin’ cool to see them evolve into thinking, reasoning people.
