A Conversation Inspired By Frozen

The Littlest Brewster has fallen desperately in love with Frozen, making her the gajillionth child to do so. She looks forward to our Sunday evening movie treat with unbridled glee. Every morning, she begs to listen to the soundtrack on the way to daycare.

Well, this morning we’re listening to the song “For the first time in forever” and the line comes on that goes: What good is a ballroom with no balls?

And this is what LB comes up with.
LB: Elsa gots balls?
Me: (Trying not to laugh at her) Yes, honey. Elsa has balls.
LB: Elsa gots two big balls. I got balls too. I only got one ball, not two balls.

At that point, I just gave up and snickered the rest of the way to daycare.

  1. At least you get funny conversations about Frozen. I get hysterical shrieking every time a song from Frozen comes on the radio and my toddler insisting she “NEEDS!!!!” this song.

    • One of the reasons I finally burned a copy of the soundtrack was to forestall the inevitable breakdown when Mommy couldn’t make the radio repeat Let It Go over and over and over….

      • I’ve thought about getting the soundtrack for the car. But if I did, we would have to listen to it all.the.time and have fits if I dared to put on anything else. As it is, it’s bad enough having to explain to a two year old that we can’t build a snowman in May.
