Ugh, I feel like such a disappointment to you all. Here you’ve been, sticking with me week in and week out, hoping to be able to cheer me on with losing the baby weight and what do I do this week?
Completely fall apart. Eat like crazy. Not exercise. (Yes, I have an excuse for not exercising, but still.)
I spent quite a bit of time yesterday contemplating throwing in the towel on this. Giving up the Back On The Wagon series. Accepting that those last 5 pounds are here for good and stopping torturing you all with my never-ending, never-successful attempts at losing them.
And then I decided to put on my big girl panties and get back on the damn wagon. Again.
Even though those last 5 pounds are now those last 7 pounds.
This Week’s Weight: 162.0 lbs
Amount Gained Since Last Week: 2.0 lbs
Total Amount Gained: 2.0 lbs
I’m not even going to go into what did or didn’t work last week. I think it’s safe to say that nothing worked, because I didn’t really try all that hard.
So what’s the plan for this week? Well, once my toe gets a bit better, I’m going back to the gym, damnit! (The PA said probably by Saturday I’d be good to go.) And I’m going to seriously focus on tracking my food and working on portion control. And I’m just going to try to do a tiny bit better each day than I did the day before. Baby steps, right?
So thank for sticking with me, even if it’s been a rather boring and tedious ride so far. Things are going to turn around this week, I just know it!
